synchronization
1.) In the intelligence context, application of intelligence sources and methods in concert with the operation plan to answer intelligence requirements in time to influence the decisions they support.
2.) The arrangement of military actions in time, space, and purpose to produce maximum relative combat power at a decisive place and time.
In the United States, military vocabulary is standardized by the Department of Defence. These terms are used by the United States Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps.
