flight deck
1.) In certain airplanes, an elevated compartment occupied by the crew for operating the airplane in flight.
2.) The upper deck of an aircraft carrier that serves as a runway. The deck of an air-capable ship, amphibious aviation assault ship, or aircraft carrier used to launch and recover aircraft.
